Paisley Atoms (Series)

Description

This 10 book character-driven series features Paisley Atoms, a fifth grader with a penchant for all things science. Her heroes are real scientists and she makes occasional references throughout the series to their accomplishments. Paisley's best friend/ sidekick is Ben Striker, an African American boy named after Benjamin Banneker. He, like his namesake, has an interest in astronomy and clocks. Each book will feature a problem or mystery that takes Paisley and Ben on a series of science-fueled adventures that tie in with one or more of our existing nonfiction titles for this age group.
